 Ecovia
Location: Av. 6 de Diciembre, all the buses are red.
Cost: $0.25 USD (Change booths available on every stop)
The “Ecovia” transportation system runs through the city from north to south on the avenue 6 de Diciembre mostly. The ride doesn’t deviate from the central station located at Avenue Río Coca, between 6 de Diciembre and Eloy Alfaro, all the way to station “La Marín” in the centre of the city. The integrated bus system of the “Ecovia” also counts with routes to and from the station “La Y” that belongs to the “Trolebús”, and another one to and from the valley of Cumbayá. (Picture)
The operating schedules for the buses are between 5:00 and 22:00. Every other bus that goes to the Ecovia, meaning the buses from the other stations and Cumbayá, only work until 21:30. | |
