Quito Shopping
Shopping in Quito is not hard, you have several malls that sell international brands, places that sell arts and crafts, and supermarkets that will satisfy your every need. Some handicrafts shops are affiliated to the EC STRAP program, and give away some incredible benefits for you.




Major Shopping malls
Every shopping mall is open from 10 am to 8 pm Monday thru Thursday and until 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Movie theatres are open until the last show ends.

Quicentro Shopping: Located in Av. 6 de Diciembre y Av. Naciones Unidas. It has clothing stores, decoration stores, hardware stores, electronic stores, photo development service, a food court and a supermarket.
Location: Naciones Unidas Avenue, between 6 de Diciembre and Shyris.
Closest Trole station: Estadio, 13 blocks walk east.
Closest Ecovia Station: Naciones Unidas, stops diagonal to the shopping mall.

Mall el Jardín: This luxurious shopping mall features the most renowned brands in designer clothes. It has a food court, decoration stores, supermarket, pet stores, hair salons and other.
Closest Trole station: Mariana de Jesus, 13 blocks walk east or el Florón, 9 blocks walk southeast.
Closest Ecovía Station: Bellavista (20 - 25 blocks walk northwest).

CC. El Bosque: This shopping mall may not be as luxurious as the rest but its appeal lies in its small stores and passages, it is also one of the first shopping malls in Quito. Complete with a food court and other services.
Location: El Parque Avenue and Alonso de Torres.

Centro Comercial Iñaquito: Otherwise known as CCI, it houses several clothing and sporting good stores. It also has an ice skating rink, movie theatre and a food court.
Location: Naciones Unidas Avenue and Amazonas Avenue.

San Luís Shopping: One of the newest shopping malls it’s located in Los Chillos Valley. It has several clothing stores, decoration stores, hardware stores, electronic stores and others. It also has a movie theater and a food court.
Location: Santa Clara Street and General Rumiñahui Avenue. (Los Chillos Valley).

Ventura Mall: A shopping mall located in the Cumbaya Valley, complete with clothing stores, decoration stores, hardware stores, electronic stores and others. It also has a movie theater and a food court.
Location: Interoceánica Avenue, km. 14, between Cumbayá and Tumbaco.

Centro Comercial El Recreo: Located in the south of the city. It has clothing stores, decoration stores, hardware stores, electronic stores and others. It also has a movie theater and a food court.
Location: Pedro Vicente Maldonado Avenue.

Plaza de Las Americas: A plaza in the north of the city mostly known for housing the Cinemark 8 movie theatre. You can also find various food venues and a Puma store.
Location: América and Naciones Unidas.

Centro Comercial Caracol: Amazonas Avenue and Naciones Unidas Avenue.
Centro Comercial Condado: John F. Kennedy Avenue and Mariscal Sucre Avenue.
Centro Comercial La Esquina: Cumbayá. Pampite Avenue and Chimborazo crnr.
Centro Plaza Cumbayá: Cumbayá. Pampite Avenue and Chimborazo.
Centro Comercial Villa Cumbayá: Cumbayá. Interoceánica Avenue and Santa Lucía.


Arts and Crafts
There are a lot of places that sell arts and crafts in the new town and near Amazonas Avenue. You can find a lot of handmade items in the Amazonas section, but you can also find more sophisticated items in stores.

You will find most of them inside shopping malls, except Megamaxis, which are bigger that the other ones.
