I was born on the 25th of December 1982 in Eilenburg/ Germany. After school, I served an apprenticeship in Leipzig, which I finished two years later as an “International Tourism Assistant”. During this time, I already gained valuable impressions of daily work during several internships with a travel agency, a tour operator and hotels in Germany and Scotland. Afterwards I worked for 2 years with LISA! Reisen, a tour operator specialized in worldwide language courses, where I was responsible for advising clients, making offers, dealing with bookings and flights and handling national and international contacts with language schools. After having obtained a lot of practical experiences, I decided in 2005 to study business administration with specialization in tourism in Dresden, one of my favourite cities in Germany, full of culture and student-life.
Since September 2009 I am realizing my dream of traveling through South America. My love for traveling kept on growing since I was a child. My parents took me and my sister every holiday to different countries in Europe and we did a lot of activities in nature at the weekends as well. When I was older I spend a lot of time in Spain and Italy. I would like to discover as many places as possible and get an impression of all the different cultures on our planet.
I would like to share my passion for traveling with all the people who want to discover the beautiful sides of the world, that’s why I’m working in tourism. For me, travelling means discovering new places, getting in contact with native people, accepting other cultures and learning new things about the country! Ecuador is a perfect place to travel and see a lot of different things within a short time. This small Andean state offers a wide range of countryside, from snow-capped volcano peaks to jungle wildlife and the beautiful Pacific coasts. Expeditiously I felt in love with Ecuador and I’m happy to assist you in planning your impending Ecuador-adventure!
