 How to get there
Mindo is located one and a half hours west from Quito, you can travel to Mindo by bus on direct buses that go from the Southern Bus Terminal, or the Northern Terminal located at Av. Prensa close to the Liga Stadium. You can also, go on any bus that goes to Puerto Quito or Pedro Vicente Maldonado, but they will leave you about 5kms away from the town, right on the highway exit. Pick-ups will charge you around $1USD per person to take you down to the village.
