I was born on June 11th 1985 in Augsburg. I also grew up in that ancient roman City located in the south of Germany. My parents taught me and my sister already very early how divers and beautiful the world is. Due to them I developed already as a child a passion for travelling. This passion grew year by year and I found travelling, living in different cultural environments and all the experiences that are related to it as the one thing that makes me happy.
After receiving my intermediate diploma of the University of Augsburg, I switched to the University of Ljubljana. I went to the University of Ljubljana because I was curious to study and live in a different cultural environment. In December 2009, I completed the Bachelor program “University Study Program in Economics and Business, field of specialization: Marketing” at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Studying and living in Ljubljana was an outstanding experience. I dealt with local and international professors, tutors and students, to many of whom I still keep friendly contact. I am sure that this will happen with my friends of EC Travel, local Ecuadorian people and maybe with you as well!
I was founder and general manager of the upper class catering service ”7 Sünden” (7 sins), a civil law association of two men. I was responsible for the planning, organization, and realization of dinners at home, event dinners, and gala dinners for up to 120 persons. I coordinated and supervised the preparation of the location as well as the workflow of temporary staff members in case of major events. I guided through the evenings, attended to the clients, and was responsible for all marketing activities. In the course of this, I developed a sense for responsibility and the ability to deal with and satisfy sophisticated customers. My colleague and I had to give up the growing business because both of us were given the opportunity to study and live abroad.
EC Travel and Ecuador combine everything I identify myself with: sports, nature, love of adventure, and culture. Since my childhood, I have been a passionate sportsman. After doing professional gymnastics I joined a Capoeira-group and am still enthusiastic about this Sport today (by the way, Capoeira was the trigger for my great interest in South America). Since I was three, I have been practicing skiing and snowboarding intensively. The fact that I spent large parts of every year in nature and the education of my parents were the driving forces for the development of my sense for nature and its protection. Ecuador is the ideal country to experience nature and the indigene population that is living in peace with it. Since, I tend to strongly identify myself with the tasks I am entrusted with it would be a pleasure to assist you by fulfilling your personal Ecuadorian dream!
