As beautiful as Ecuador may be, one of its main problems is the issue regarding the inclusion of people with disabilities. There are few cities that have ramps for wheelchairs, and are fully accessible. Quito and Guayaquil, recently established the use of ramps and handicap access in every new construction. The problem with this is that the city itself doesn’t provide a continuous flow for any person on a wheelchair. Other physically challenged people like sight impaired, hearing impediments or unable to speak will find little or no special assistance like Braille; street bumps on sidewalks or other. This doesn’t mean that as a physically challenged person you can’t travel to Ecuador, but it requires some supervision and logistics to make your stay a pleasant one.

Ecuador is quite a child friendly place. A good amount of parks and attractions make big cities a major thrill for kids, and in the country-side the adventure of finding animals, bathing in rivers and jumping on waterfalls make a kid’s stay here one to remember. When travelling with babies, parents should consider some issues in order to enjoy your trip while keeping your baby safe.
