In Guayaquil you can catch a bus at the bus stop, mostly, but there will be several times when you will have to run after the bus to catch it and make it stop. Traffic in Guayaquil is a serious issue, even though the streets are clearer than in Quito, they are also more dangerous.
In Cuenca the traffic is also an issue, the streets are narrow and that makes the fluidity of traffic somewhat difficult. Buses can drive you to any place in town, most of all if you take it downtown. But with Cuenca being a small city, walking is a viable option for mobilizing yourself to a lot of places downtown or the modern area. | |
